Community Association Insurance

What is a community association?

A community association is a corporation of members typically formed by the owners of lots in a deposited and registered community plan. Community plans depict a parcel of land subdivided into two or more lots where there is some shared use of this land as a common area.

Common areas consist of community property, such as shared driveways, swimming pool or tennis courts, which are owned and managed by the owner's corporation or body corporate.
