Key claims appointment by leading strata specialist

Award winning strata insurance specialist, CHU Underwriting Agencies, today announced the appointment of David Gow to Head of Claims. He is taking over the reins from Andy Martindale who has been appointed CEO, Steadfast Claims Solutions, a new division of Steadfast launched in August this year.

David has worked in property claims for over 30 years holding various positions across all policy classes. He commenced his career in IAG working in claims and loss adjusting and then worked with Cunningham Lindsey as a loss adjuster and Regional Manager. Most recently he held the position of Head of Property claims at QBE. David is also a Senior Associate of ANZIIF, a Chartered Loss Adjuster and an active industry expert.

“The Head of Claims is a critical role between CHU’s operations and our clients to ensure that key client needs are met and, where possible, exceeded in the claims process to deliver on our promise,” said Kimberley Jonsson, CEO of CHU.

Kimberley added that David’s knowledge of the insurance industry and proven track-record in claims were ideal attributes to support CHU’s customer focus and claims experience.
