Meet Steve

Steve is our National Underwriting Manager and has a young family. He attributes the model to reduced stress levels. He no longer must fight the commute or look at the clock to see if he will miss a commitment with his kids. He has also seen an improvement in his ability to manage his exercise and eat more healthily as a result.

Meet Hayley

Hayley is our Claims Manager based in QLD. Last year she went on parental leave and came back part time. With the introduction of our flexible work model, she’s been able to agree a compressed work week which allows her to work five days in four, taking care of her baby on the fifth day and not having to settle for reduced income because of her caring responsibilities.

Meet Jordon

Jordan is a Junior Business Analyst at CHU. He originally applied for a Business Analyst role with CHU. At the time, Jordan didn’t quite meet the experience level required for that role, but CHU could see that he had a lot of potential, so he was offered an alternative role of Customer Service Officer. He’s now well on his preferred career path as part of the Business Solutions team.

Meet Carly

Carly is our People Advisor based in Sydney. When her husband got a job for the ACT fire service she was able to move so that he could accept the job and retain hers. Her husband has a new opportunity to move back to NSW for his job. They are also expecting a baby and they can make this move knowing that they don’t need to move to Sydney to allow Carly to continue her role.

Meet Victoria

Vicki started out with CHU as an Underwriter, before becoming our inaugural Direct Sales Team Leader. For a few years she had an interest in compliance, so when our newly created Quality Assurance Officer roles were advertised, Vicki thought it was the perfect opportunity to jump at! Vicki has demonstrated in her time with CHU, that there are opportunities for the taking that don’t exist yet.

Meet Fraser

Fraser is one of our proud CHU dads and one of the very first to access CHU’s enhanced parental benefits now offered to all our CHU parents.
